BX Digital expands executive leadership and appoints Samuel Bisig as CTO

BX Digital is pleased to announce the appointment of Samuel Bisig as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and new member of the Executive Board. In this role, he is responsible for shaping the company’s technological strategy, overseeing IT operations, and developing BX Digital’s digital infrastructure further.

Samuel Bisig joined BX Digital in early 2022 as an external consultant. Since July 2024 he has served as Head of Technology. In this role, he has played a pivotal role in designing and developing the company’s Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT)-based trading and settlement platform. Samuel Bisig brings extensive experience in technology development, innovation management and strategic leadership.

He has held senior positions at the global IT consulting firm GFT Technologies SE and Heidelberg Instruments Nano AG and has been involved in research projects at renowned institutions such as IBM Research, Harvard University, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). His core expertise lies in IT architecture, software engineering, and DLT protocols. He studied Material Science & Engineering at ETH Zurich and completed an Executive MBA at the Quantic School of Business and Technology in Washington, D.C., in 2023.
