DAOs: A revolutionary step for the future of corporate governance?
Prof. Dr. Nina Reiser (University of St. Gallen) shares her insights into the future of DAOs: these decentralised, blockchain-based organisations could completely rethink traditional corporate structures. Without centralised management, DAOs offer more transparency and avoid the typical governance conflicts of traditional models. However, many countries lack a clear legal framework to regulate key issues such as liability and regulation.
In an interview with Matthias Müller, CCO of BX Digital, Prof Dr Reiser sheds light on the current state of DAO regulation – in Switzerland and worldwide. She highlights the challenges and opportunities of a specific DAO legal form that could give Switzerland a long-term competitive advantage.
